Workshop 1 – From Witness to Action: In this 4-day intensive workshop, participants explored and addressed experiences, patterns and social messages that compromise our ability to engage in satisfying relationships and constructive action in the world around us. In particular they identified and mobilized values, skills and resources that enable them to face hardship and oppression from a place of awakeness, wisdom, creativity and resilience. The workshop included voice work, movement practice and various therapeutic drama methods. They also worked with traditional and contemporary Egyptian songs and melodies.
Workshop 2- Circle of Resonance: Whether one have completed one dramatherapy/psychodrama course – or many – this workshop provided participants with a rich and stimulating environment within which to continue one’s journey towards a life of greater insight, connection and empowerment. In particular, they worked with the Circle of Resonance – a participatory drama method used for processing and developing group themes through embodied practice. They also worked with traditional and contemporary Egyptian songs and melodies.
