On 12th & 13th June 2015 at Studio Emad Eddin
Drawing on various contemporary dance techniques, improvisation and gaming, this technique class challenged participants to connect to their core in order to find an authentic and organic source of movement. Dancers were given the freedom to investigate movement phrases through choreographic and improvisational tools that allow them to inhabit their own movement more fully and to find new solutions for problems of phrasing, intent, and technical ability. Dancers were taught phrases and different tasks from min tala’s new work and given improvisational tasks to expand the content.
*This workshop was a collaboration between Studio Emad Eddin, Orient Productions and Ezzat Ezzat Contemporary Dance Studio, and part of Min Tala program**
