From 14th – 16th of June 2013 at Studio Emad Eddin
This 3-day intensive workshop provided participants with experience, skills and knowledge for effective Playback Theatre performance.
They honed their ability to attune to the Teller and their story; they practiced techniques that develop artistry and truthfulness on stage, practiced the structure and “ritual” required for public performance; also learned how to use Playback for trauma response and political advocacy.
In addition, the workshop focused on voice development, ensemble work and improvisation, specifically with Litwak’s Voice Warm Up Progression, Litwak’s Creative Voicing technique, Viewpoints and Composition work, all methods that enable advanced listening and creative freedom on stage.
