Studio Emad Eddin in collaboration with HaRaka hosted a talk on the language of Tango and the screening of the Film Tango. Haraka was interested in starting a dialogue on language and dance, the sociopolitical contexts of dialects, the traces of performance of race, gender and class in dialects and dances. Tango was the example used in the talk, followed by screenings of Tango films that evening.
