Cultural Management Workshop

From 15th – 22nd of February 2007

The program consisted of several visits to cultural venues in Cairo and Alexandria, as well as meetings with artists from both cities. Xavier Dupuis gave a lecture entitled “Economy of Culture”. The workshop also presented case studies, and participants were introduced to the subjects of conception, research and writing proposals for financing cooperation projects in the Euro – Mediterranean region.

In this workshop, an Alumni project was run by MELOPEE (Management Education for Cultural Operators in the Mediterranean), in partnership with Studio Emad Eddin, Meridie, Carovana, and ASK Eurasi Art Collective.
