This masterclass focused on movies that are adapted from graphic novels: In addition to enjoying a renewed surge in popularity after having once being replaced by TV cartoons, graphic novels are also experiencing unprecedented appreciation on a broader scale for the immense artistic and technical effort that is required to produce even a single one. In this masterclass, Initiative Film discussed principal graphic novels that were adapted for film and TV, and focused on the logistics of targeting audiences and producing internationally.
