From 12th to 17th of November 2017 at Studio Emad Eddin
In this workshop, participants learned the importance of the mechanism in stage design, and how the space transforms from scene to other using the manual mechanism. Experimental scenographer Hussein Baydoun walked them step by step through his process for set design.

** MINNA – Misr Innovative Arts Platform was a yearlong Cultural Programme (February 2017 – January 2018), funded by the European Union. It was implemented by Orient Productions, Ricercae Cooperazione Egypt, Association of Upper Egypt for Education and Development (AUEED) and Innovety. The Programme aimed at strengthening the roles and capacities of the Egyptian artists and cultural operators in order to make their work more sustainable and expand their programmes and audiences.
