Light Design Workshop

This workshop was divided into two parts, theory and practice.
The theoretical part included the basic knowledge and tools for light design, analyzing a text out from light, color theory, electric theory, planning and making light drawings and knowledge about common lighting equipment such as spots, dimmers and light consols.
The practical part consisted of following and assisting Charlie Åström in his work designing light for two performances, The Committee and The Importance of being an Arab directed by Ahmed El Attar, including practical elements such as rigging, trouble shooting, focusing, programming light and preparing for tour.
