On 6th of December 2005 at Studio Emad Eddin
This workshop was a collaboration between Studio Emad Eddin, CIC, Town House Gallery, and Jesuit El Minya. The main subject of discussion during the workshop was the cultural scene in Egypt, its strengths, situational and internal challenges, sources of financial support, and political context.
Besides its academic content, this workshop was important in its introduction of the idea of sharing resources and networking between existing institutions, and the idea of creating Arts Council Egypt was formed.
