Mentor of Stage Management

Loulwa Dorra is a theatre professional with experience both as a performer and a stage manager. After beginning her career as an actor and backstage crew member in university productions, she transitioned into stage management and has worked on numerous theatre productions in Egypt.

Her professional work includes collaborations with Kenoma Theatre Company on productions such as Waiting for Godot, God of Carnage, and Insomnia, as well as projects with the interactive theatre troupe Maktoob Aleina. In addition to her freelance work, she manages Rawabet Art Space, one of Egypt’s most significant independent performance venues.

As the stage management mentor in the Premières II program, Loulwa Dorra supports participants in understanding rehearsal organization, communication between departments, and the practical coordination required during technical rehearsals and performances.
