LIGHT DESIGN MENTOR 

Saad Samir graduated from the Faculty of Arts, Cairo University in 2000 with Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Based in Cairo, he works as a Lighting Designer and Technical Manager all over Egypt, the Arab world and Europe on a wide range of local and international cultural projects. He has collaborated with renowned directors and choreographers.

His Work as Technical Manager has included: Meeting Point 4 and 5, The Long Shortcut (Photo Cairo 4), Radio Muezzin (Rimini Protocol), Sharjah Biennial 9 Film and Performance Program , 2 B Continued (Theatre Lab and Festival – Studio Emad Eddin Foundation),100 Live 2 – 3 & 4 (Electronic Music Festival).

He has participated in the Theatre Technicians workshops program organized by the Kennedy Center, Washington DC (USA). He has facilitates lighting workshops for cultural spaces and theatres all over Egypt.
