In this workshop led by British theatre maker Nathan Ellis, participants explored experimental dramaturgies. The discussion tackled form and content, how the two relate, and how to use form as a starting point in thinking about one’s texts. Participants did some reading together, discussed plays and theatricality, and thinkought about several existing examples before applying the techniques that these playwrights have used onto their own ideas.
The workshop was open to ten participants, and the only requirement for participation is an interest in writing and directing theatre.
