From 9th – 13th of October 2013 at Falaki Theatre.

This workshop considered the importance of working dynamically with the architecture of a space and its impact on the actor. Site work was conceived of as a dance between the dramaturgy of the text/actor and the natural dramaturgy of the physical space. Sometimes one partner in the dance leads, sometimes the other. A series of physical, practical, vocal and written exercises and tasks led to a consideration of how we can truly make work in and of our world. The workshop welcomed artists from a variety of backgrounds from theatre, dance, circus and fine arts.
