Physical Theater and Performance Workshop*

The workshop gave participants a physical and practical introduction to the methodology of renowned Russian theater practitioner Konstantin Stanislavski, as well as training in ‘Movement Theater’. Participants have been introduced to the work of such celebrated figures as Jacques le Coq and Ben Bennison, who was Tiller’s teacher at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London and performed in the improvisational group Theater Machine.

This workshop prioritized physical work, with limited ‘talking instruction’, by providing participants with a physical vocabulary that they can employ in their own performances and pass on to others.
