What does a Stage Manager do? The workshop was about answering this question, and discussing in detail the role of the SM during the auditions, rehearsals, productions and how to write reports after each performance etc. 

*This workshop was part of the Euro-Arab Multidisciplinary Cultural Exchange project and the JM Liverato project**, and was under the framework of 4th edition of the 2B Continued Laboratory & Festival 

 

**the JM Liverato project was named after one of its founders, J.M. Liverato, the Euro-Arab Multidisciplinary Cultural Exchange Project was a unique and innovative endeavour in the Arab region. The project brought together six internationally renowned organizations in the fields of visual and performance arts, providing them with the opportunity to collaborate through a culturally diverse programme spanning over two years. The J.M. Liverato Project was a partnership between the following institutions: Studio Emad Eddin Foundation (Sweden), Orient Productions (Egypt), Young Vic Theatre (UK), Descent Danse Association (France), Dancing on the Edge (The Netherlands) and ZINC/ECM (France)
