The Actor Between the Body and the Space

Theatre is a blank page and the actor is a dot on the stage: how can he/she affect the audience without set or props, expressing oneself only by means of his/her situated presence and his/her body? There is a difference between the physical and acting state when you walk on the hot sands of the desert and when you are inside a small elevator without electricity and with dozens of people. In this workshop, individual and group improvisation exercises trained the participants how to deal with their body and how to interact with their sense of place.
