From 16th – 28th of November 2013 at Studio Emad Eddin.
This workshop underlined the importance of sound design in performing arts (theatre and dance), as well as contained theory and practice covering the different approaches, concepts and techniques of sound design.
The training focused on the technical side of sound in theater, tackling subjects like acoustics, cabling & wiring, installing PA systems, using playback devices, using microphones, reinforcing music and singing in both theater and dance, and finally practicing all the needed techniques for technical installation and operation of a show.
