What are the different economical, technical and artistic stages to turn a play into a film? This masterclass answered the questions that a producer, a screenwriter or a director need to ask themselves when confronted by adaptation. Initiative Film by Isabelle Fauvel and D-CAF decided to program two emblematic films which also, in their own way, address the relationship between Canada and the Arab world.
