On 27th & 28th of March 2015 at Studio Emad Eddin In this 2-day workshop, participants have learned that theatre is a powerful tool for self-expression and self-empowerment, and that all human beings have the power to be active ‘spect-actors’ in their own lives.
From 16th of March – 8th of April 2015 Participants learned some of the exercises, techniques and famous Eastern rhythms which are played on the Tabla. They learned in more depth the capacities of the instrument, the different beats, and the different Arabic music rhythms.
From 22nd March – 25th March 2015 at Studio Emad Eddin This workshop covered practice with two important kind of masks, the Neutral and the Half Mask. Both develop the actor’s presence, awakening a sense of discovery, openness and a capacity to play with the whole body.
From 23rd February – 7th March 2015 at Studio Emad Eddin. This workshop covered three important mask making techniques, Papier mache, ModRoc and Latex. Participants learned and explored how to design, create and paint their own mask. As well as, sculpting techniques: how to properly mold the sculpture and how to cast the mask.
