“Premieres Premières II x 2B Continued” program is a two-year initiative (2026–2027) dedicated to empowering emerging theatre and dance artists in Egypt while fostering international cultural exchange.
Through an integrated approach combining creation, mentorship, and professional development, the program supports young creators in developing original contemporary performances and equips them with the skills, networks, and resources to sustain their practice independently.
Program Pillars
-
Producing Performances
At the heart of the program is the creation of 10 new contemporary theatre and dance productions. This pillar provides emerging artists—particularly those developing concepts for the first time—with the opportunity to bring their ideas to the stage, under professional guidance, from conception to premiere.

Mentorship Program
Participants benefit from intensive training and individualized mentorship from established practitioners from Egypt, the Arab world, and France, across all production disciplines. This pillar ensures artists gain practical knowledge in directing, choreography, stage management, scenography, lighting, and other technical and artistic areas, providing continuous support at every stage, from early development to opening night.
3. Supplementary Workshops
Open to everyone, these workshops bridge the gap between participants and the professional sector. They provide hands-on training in the practical demands of independent performance, and offer a valuable resource for any artist or practitioner looking to develop their craft and expand their professional network. They also equip participants with the skills and connections needed to tour their work and secure future funding.
